Care guide / Check the full bill
Get a total, not a headline price.
Ask what you would pay to be assessed, what you would pay if treatment goes ahead, and what continues after that. Put each answer on the same sheet.

Keep this question
What would I actually owe?
Get a written price for your prescription
This guide has no verified maker or government tesamorelin price to quote for September 2026.
Get a written quote for the exact prescription and the proposed care. A guessed monthly range would not answer what you will owe.
Ask for each part of the bill

Question to get answered
Assessment
What does the first visit cost, and what if no medicine is prescribed?
Medicine
What exact product and supply does the quote cover?
Tests
Which checks are proposed, and are their fees included?
Follow-up
Are later visits or messages included, billed per visit or billed each month?
Delivery
Is sending the medicine included in the quoted total?
Ending care
How do I cancel, and when does billing stop?
Ask for the starting bill and the ongoing bill separately. Then check what happens if the plan changes. This avoids comparing an assessment-only price with a price that includes more.
Ask about help without counting on it
As of September 2026, the maker described co-pay help for some privately insured people and no-cost medicine for some qualifying patients.
A co-pay is what the patient pays towards a covered bill.
Help with payment is only for people who meet the programme’s rules; this guide cannot tell you whether you qualify.
Ask the maker’s support team whether you qualify with your age and type of insurance. Ask your insurer what your plan would pay. Count on help only after the amount is confirmed in writing.
Questions for your insurer
Does my plan cover the exact medicine for the proposed use?
Which pharmacy can fill it under my plan?
Does the plan need to agree to payment before the prescription is filled?
What part would I pay, and does that change later?
Are the assessment, tests and follow-up covered separately?
Keep the reply with the quote. Compare the same items across care options. If a fee or condition is left out, ask for an updated total.

Your prescription price
Ask for the price of your exact prescription; the maker’s September 2026 patient pages gave no dollar figure.
DailyMed: tesamorelin (Egrifta WR) label
For the medicine and the checks to discuss when asking about cost.

This checkbook helps you question tesamorelin care; it is a guide, never a clinic or a place that sells treatment.
